I want to apologize for not posting more often. Graduate school is kicking me in rear this semester and next semester I may possibly take two classes online. I took a midterm last Wednesday that was four hours long. I am reading so much that it is affecting my already handicapped (I wear glasses) eye sight. So, my post will not be many, but I will try to not let too much time past in between posts.
Now that I have that out of the way...
Look at what someone with experience and a love of their craft did for me:

Now feast your eyes on this...
Front veiw of the after

Sharon McGhee is one of the nicest people that I have met. She is a true credit to her craft. She loves what she does and it shows. Sharon has no idea how grateful I am to have her take me on as a client. I was getting very frustrated with my locs and Sharon saved me from making a very, very, very BIG mistake.
If you live or are in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area and you are looking for a very professional, caring, nice, and talented Sisterlock Consultant, who in addition to sisterlocks, also offers maintenance on traditional locks that are interlocked, you may want to give Sharon a call. Please email me for her contact information.
THANK YOU SHARON! SEE YOU IN FOUR WEEKS!

I'm in love with your locks too!
They're SHINY!
Did you put something in them to make them shiny, do they shine on their own, or is it that your internal shine comes out through your hair?
Your hair looks awesome!! I definitely plan on seeing her as my consultant (if she has room for me) when I start my locks again!!
Thank you brunsli! Funny thing is, they only look shiny is when they are photographed. In person and when I look in the mirror they don't shine like that..at least not to me. So, I am going to choose the third reason...that is, my internal shine coming through my hair!
I just want to let you know that I so enjoy reading you blog. I envy your opportunities to travel to so many places outside of the US. I won't have that opportunity until both of my children will be in college. That won't be until I complete my PhD which is when my son enters college. (Nice graduation gift for me, right?)
You finishing law school and passing the boards (I think I termed that correctly), was the final boost that I needed to send me on my way to returning to school. I am now in graduate school and will be finished in the next three years. There after, I will be on my way to earning my PhD.
You have a wonderful family and please know that you are truely blessed! I am looking forward to reading your future posts to your blog.
peace&blessings ~robinc
Thank you Lovenia! You and Sharon already have a deal in place. I am sure that she is saving a space just for you.

nice locks. :-)
cheers
and be happy !
Hi Jimmy! Thank you! If I read your profile correctly, you are my first international visitor to my blog.
Robin, Yo lil sista, it has been a long time since you have been on your blog, as if I have done any better. Your hair looks beautiful! I have not had any chemicals put in my hair since last July. I have no idea what I am going to do with it. It has gotten very long and I know I need to have it trimmed. My plan is to put no more chemicals in my hair, right now, I look like the wild woman of Borneo :-)
